So, for those of you who don't know who Achilles was, I'm not about to elaborate. You know the tendon that connects your heel to the rest of your leg? Well, that thing was named after him because that was his only vulnerable spot on his whole body.
Okay, so anyway, the Achilles Tendon is the most weight-bearing tendon in your body. So if it snaps, well, you're basically screwed. I have a partial tear in mine from basketball and a dormant injury from snowboarding last spring. I was on crutches, now I'm in one of those boot-things that kind of looks like it should be part of Darth Vader's get up.

Ice is my new best friend for the next little while, and after finals, my sketchbook will come back from it's vacation with my pencil and pen. Should be getting some drawing in sometime soon.

On the Bright side of things, however, my boot is quite warm in cold weather and is suprisingly fun to walk in (though, I admit that it would be much more fun it had wheels).
